The sun-washed Luberon and Verdon regions of Provence are a walker's paradise, filled with vineyards, orchards, herb-covered hills and ancient Roman ruins. Provence delights the senses with its fragrant smells of lavender, rosemary and sage along with its luminous light that has inspired artists, musicians and writers. Come along and paint with us, this wonderful region of France, escorted by Artist/Instructor Valerie Kent.
We have heard so many of you that have enjoyed our painting tours, that this spring we are happy to unveil our newest tour program - Painting the Seaside Villages of France and Spain plus Barcelona. Join us and discover and explore the charming coastal villages all along the coastline that drew many of the early 20th century artists. Even if you are not inclined to paint or sketch I am sure you, like me will appreciate and enjoy exploring this whole region. Please join me on this lovely tour next spring.
Artist/Instructor Valerie Kent will escort this wonderful 7 Night painting holiday to the lovely English Lakes District in Aug 2013, taking full advantage of the warm summer days. She will lead on location workshops in Ambleside, Grasmere, Yew Tree Farm, Ashness Bridge and Bowness-on-Windermere.
Olive groves & vineyards cling to the hillsides, proud little villages perched above the sea and hidden coves nestled at the foot of dramatic cliffs .... these are just a few of the things that make the Ligurian Coast one of Italy's most popular and stunning regions. We tour and paint iconic areas including the Cinque Terre ("Five Lands" of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore) and Tuscany's Lucca, Pienza, Montepulciano and Florence.
